Dr. Athanasiou Athanasios is a graduate of Medical School since 1996. After finishing his basic studies, he served as a doctor at 406 Army General Hospital.

He completed the specialization of Plastic Surgery at the Hospital “Agios Savvas”, while he realized part of his specialization at the hospital Chelsea & Westminster in London.

He gained a wide experience in the field of reconstructive surgery, especially in the section of microsurgery reconstruction of head and neck deficits as also breast reconstruction.

He completed his PhD on “wounds healing with the help of pulsed electromagnetic fields” on 2006. After his specialization, he occupied a salaried position in a big private clinic of London (London Clinic), where he has gained much experience especially in the field of aesthetic surgery, working near to distinguished scientists of London in the field of plastic surgery.

He continued his training in California U.S.A., where he collaborated with great professors in New Port Beach and Beverly Hills, creating a strong relation of collaboration and continuing exchange of views and techniques.

He is a member of “The Doctors” Medical Network and the founder of “Athens Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery”.

He has published in many reputed international and greek scientific journals, and has given many lectures at national and international medical conferences.

He strongly believes in the collaboration between specialized scientists, while his main philosophy is that aesthetics and beauty in general is an organized set of mental and physical characteristics of a person and not individual elements on it.
